I can see this needs to end
losing who I am chasing what only devalues
its hard to recognize the stakes
or the state of mind that takes place
when I feel there’s nothing left
I can see what has kept me blind
and all the right doors closed
but for every path i chose
ive learnt to camouflage that emptiness I know
grows darker with time
I see it with my own two eyes and its coming to life
the seasons will change and life will bend your heart

forsaken by my own ways
head first into the wreckage of a life I do not know
nothing but time and thought to wear my mind
somehow the damage keeps me whole

or fading interest and warning signs
the scaring is deep and every day I try

In a blink of an eye under florescent lights
in a suit and tie in front of a one way mirror
my memory is mostly blank
but I remember the face
I cant tell the dreams from reality
Ive learnt to forget giving up
and feed from disdain in you eyes
lead by inaudible voices peering outward in time
is this reality or dream
which of us is figment of mind echoing in darkness
in a blink of an eye aboard a one way flight
in a way it’s the end or has it all just begun.

and it’s been here for too long now
this is what it is to decay
its changed my mind and what is left of the heart

the infestation of negative thought wont subside

and now it all feels normal
